Dental clinics
Reception cannot reach the phone with a patient in the chair.
The assistant answers every call, gives the practical information and routes the matter to the right person.
A short call where you hear the assistant in action.
Calls pile up in the morning and the afternoon
Reception works with patients, and the calls arrive in the same moments. A caller left in a queue hangs up and may not try again.
- Reception handles the patient and the phone at the same time.
- The same question about schedules and instructions keeps coming back.
- Outside opening hours the caller reaches nobody.
- Cancellations and changes generate a lot of contacts.
What people call about
The assistant handles administrative calls, not clinical ones.
- An appointment request and enquiries about free slots
- Opening hours and location
- Services and practical instructions before a visit
- A matter that belongs to a specific person or department
How the call runs
- 1
The assistant says it is an AI
The caller knows immediately who they are speaking to.
- 2
It answers from the clinic’s own information
Schedules, instructions and practices come from the knowledge base whose content you decide.
- 3
The matter goes to the right place
An appointment request is recorded, and anything needing human judgement is transferred or logged as a ticket.
What matters for a clinic
Every call gets answered
Several calls at once, including at peak times.
Routing by department
Matters go where your rules say they should go.
Transfer to a person
When the matter needs staff, the call is transferred straight away.
Data stays in the EU
Calls are processed in the EU and each customer’s data is kept apart from the others.
Limits we keep
In healthcare it is clearer to say what the assistant does not do.
- It does not assess a complaint and does not give treatment advice.
- It is not an out-of-hours or emergency number.
- Urgent matters are routed to a person the way you have agreed.
- Personal details are not read out on the phone.
No diagnoses and no clinical assessment. Not an out-of-hours or emergency service.
Frequently asked
Can the assistant judge how urgent a problem is?
No. It handles administrative matters and routes the rest to staff according to the agreed rule.
What about out-of-hours emergencies?
The assistant is not an emergency number. We agree together what it says and where it directs the caller.
Where is patient-related data processed?
In the EU. The assistant also does not read personal details out loud on the phone.
Can it book directly into our system?
The appointment goes into Lingaro’s own registry, which is included in the service. Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook can be connected on request; connecting other systems is assessed case by case over an API.
Listen to how it answers first
The best way to judge the service is to hear it on the phone.
